A Repeatable Fingerprinting Pathway for Every Placement
We run high-volume fingerprinting for staffing and recruiting agencies — onsite cohort capture by a California DOJ-certified technician, on the right form for each placement, with procurement billing that fits your account.
A Pathway Built for Placement Volume
The repeatable parts of agency fingerprinting — the right form per role, cohort capture, recurring dates, and one invoice.

Submission per placement
Each candidate captured on a complete BCIA 8016 with the right ORI, applicant type, and mail code so results route the first time.

Onsite cohort capture
We bring Live Scan to your office or a placement site and clear a whole cohort in one visit, with no minimum on size.

Recurring scheduling
Standing dates that track your placement waves, so each new candidate is cleared on the cadence your contracts require.

Procurement billing
Purchase-order and net-30 invoicing to you, with the government fee passed through at cost and never marked up.

Regulated-role routing
Candidates placed into care or security roles captured on that role’s specific form, not a generic print that the end-client will reject.

Documented per candidate
An ATI tracking number and completion record for every candidate, so your file shows each submission was made.
The Right Form and ORI for Every Placement
Two things stall a placement’s prints: not being an authorized applicant agency yet, and a form with the wrong ORI, applicant type, or mail code. We keep both from happening:
- Your ORI or the end-client’s, used correctly
- Applicant type and mail code matched to the role
- Care and security placements on their own form
- Onsite cohort capture, recurring dates
- No minimum on candidate count
- One PO and net-30 invoice
It runs on electronic Live Scan, and our employer fingerprinting service covers your internal staff too. Placing security officers? Our BSIS guard-card clearance handles those.
Request a Quote →The Costly Ways a Candidate’s Print Stalls
A rejected or misrouted print means a candidate cannot start and a placement slips. Each risk below names the rule and the consequence.
Not an authorized applicant agency yet
Before an agency fingerprints under its own ORI, it must apply through the DOJ Agency Authorization Portal and be authorized by statute, which takes about four to six weeks. Sending candidates first means the prints cannot be submitted under your agency.
The ORI alone is not enough
A form with the wrong or missing applicant type or mail code gets results delayed, misrouted, or rejected, and the candidate often has to be re-printed and re-charged. We complete the agency block correctly for the role.
A care or security placement on the wrong form
Candidates placed into licensed care or BSIS security roles need that role’s specific form and ORI. A generic employment print does not satisfy the end-client’s requirement and the placement is held until it is redone.
Using the result before you may
California limits how and when criminal-history results are used in a hiring decision. Live Scan captures the print; it does not adjudicate, so your use of the result must follow Fair Chance rules and is separate from an FCRA consumer report.
Fingerscan Digital provides fingerprinting, not legal advice — confirm your authorized-applicant-agency status and the end-client’s required form. Live Scan is a DOJ and FBI fingerprint criminal-history check, which is distinct from an FCRA consumer-report background check.
From Quote to Cleared Cohort in Five Steps
Request a quote
Tell us your placement volume, the roles you fill, and your billing setup. We map each role to the right form and set up procurement terms.
Confirm form & ORI
We use your authorized agency’s ORI and applicant type, or the end-client’s when they are the requesting agency, so prints route correctly.
Schedule the cohort
Book our San Jose office or onsite dispatch to your site across Northern California, on recurring dates with no minimum on count.
Capture & submit
A DOJ-certified technician captures each candidate on BCIA 8016 and transmits to the DOJ and FBI, with an ATI number to track status.
Procurement billing
One purchase-order or net-30 invoice to the agency, the government fee at cost, and a completion record documented per candidate.
Quote-Based, Built for Volume
Pricing depends on candidate count, the forms involved, and whether we travel, so we quote it rather than publish a fixed rate.
Per-candidate, lower with volume
A flat per-candidate rate that decreases as the count grows. The DOJ and FBI fee is passed through at cost and quoted at order, never marked up.
Onsite by cohort & distance
For onsite work, a dispatch fee plus the per-candidate rate, quoted by cohort size and travel distance anywhere in Northern California.
PO & net-30 terms
Agencies running recurring placements bill on purchase-order and 30-day net terms under a standing account, so no candidate pays at the kiosk.

What Staffing and Recruiting Agencies Ask Us
To fingerprint candidates under your own ORI, your agency must first apply through the DOJ Agency Authorization Portal and be authorized by statute, which takes about four to six weeks to receive an ORI. If the end-client is the requesting agency, we capture under their ORI instead. We will tell you which path applies to a given placement so candidates are not sent before the routing is in place.
The ORI alone is not enough. If the applicant type or mail code is missing or wrong, the result can be delayed, misrouted, or rejected, and the candidate often has to be re-printed and pay a second fee. We complete the agency block on the BCIA 8016 correctly for each role so the submission routes the first time.
No. Live Scan is a fingerprint-based criminal-history check submitted to the California DOJ and, when required, the FBI. An FCRA consumer-report background check is a separate product from a consumer reporting agency. We capture the fingerprints and return the submission record; we do not adjudicate the result or produce an FCRA report.
Yes. We set up standing dates and onsite cohort capture that track your placement waves, with no minimum on count. Volume is captured on the quote form so we bring the right forms and bill the agency rather than each candidate.
Yes. We bill the agency on a standing account with purchase-order and net-30 terms, and the government fee is passed through at cost. You get one invoice and a record per candidate instead of reimbursing individual receipts.
Yes. Onsite group capture is built for cohorts ahead of placement, and a DOJ-certified technician can clear a whole group in one visit across Northern California. There is no minimum, so a single late addition is handled the same way as a full cohort.
Those placements need the role’s specific form and ORI, not a generic employment print. A care role follows its licensing requirement and a security officer follows the BSIS guard-card path, and we capture each candidate on the correct form so the end-client’s requirement is met.
Yes. Each candidate receives an ATI tracking number and a completion record showing the submission was made, ready for your file and any client audit. A clean record per candidate keeps the agency prepared if a placement is reviewed.
